Dean A. Sorenson was born in the Midwest. He graduated from college in Minnesota, and upon graduation, began his life-long dream career with the Dallas, Texas Police Department. After serving the Citizens of Dallas, Dean was honorably retired at the rank of Sergeant of Police, the rank he held for almost 20 years of his total 26 years of service. Dean began acting professionally part-time in 2006, and upon his retirement from the Dallas Police Department, he dedicated his time to a full-time Acting Career. Dean has been seen in print advertisements, music videos, short and feature films, several web series and a television series. He is actively pursuing greater knowledge of the Art of Acting. Dean's Acting Coach is Ms. Theresa Bell of "Theresa Bell's Actor's Studio", Dallas, Texas, who teaches the Archetypal Character Acting and the "Ivana Chubbuck Technique". Dean has also trained in several workshops, seminars, webinars, and classes.
